Just got my new KKM at home. Mom said the box was crushed and the filter had a little damage to it. Look at the pics please and tell me what you think. Does KKM have a return policy on stuff like that or something of the sort?

Doesn't look that bad to me... You could probably pinch the pleats back into shape.
Don't know what KKMs return policy is, but they aren't responsible for damage through shipping. You'd have to take it up with the shipper (UPS?) which is a HUGE pain in the ass.

Edited it. I went ahead and did the HTML for it so it is viewable without doing all that mess.

i agree, it doesnt look bad, the pleats are still seperated, which is important, you could just bend them back, but if you even left it alone, it would be ok, you might make it worse by playing with it, it would be worse if they were bent together or the endcap was busted. Also heres a tip, when you go to mount it, drill a hole right under the original hole on the mounting bracket and screw it into that hole, this will make the kkm sit a little lower and it wont hit the underside of the hood, just a tip for ya

Looks just like mine now. Take it up with UPS not KKM. You should be ok with the filter like that. Just straighten the pleats out and you will be fine.
