So i did some calculations and if i take the most efficient route via I-80 it will take me 6hrs 8min and round trip will cost me $67 in tolls.

there is a non toll route that isnt that bad of a drive on Hwy 30, but it adds 50 min to the trip but only a handful of miles.

thoughts on the trip from those that have done the trip from NW IN to Pitt before

I think I did the toll route when Cougarfest was in Portage. I know that doesn't help answer your question.

Luck be on my side, I just scheduled a viewing for a 2000 LSB 2.5 MTX on my route to fest lol. If all goes as I'm hoping it will I'll be driving my new project on arrival!!! Oh and Wade, the answer to your question is no, tis not lol. At least on my part.

I haven't decided when I'm leaving yet. Is anyone driving through Columbus on 70, who would like to caravan?

Andy, I may be. I'm not certain yet but I'll be coming from Danville, south of Lexington, up 75 at least to the Cincinnati area. I'll be leaving either Thursday night or early Friday morning but have a scheduled viewing of my new cougar to be in NC along the way. Not sure if I'll be in my Fusion or if we're taking my brothers Camaro. Waiting to hear from him about whether or not he will be able to attend. Either way I'd be down, company is always appreciated on a trip.

I was planning on heading over on Thursday afternoon/evening, as I'd like to be there fairly early on Friday and don't want to get up at 6 AM for that

Since the Roush is still needing work, I'm bringing the Mustang this year :( First time since 2004 that the Cougar hasn't been to CougarFest.

I'm waiting on the guy to message me back with an actual time to see the car, once I've figured that out I'll know exactly when I'll be leaving. I only booked the hotel for friday/saturday nights because the purchase of the car is taking nearly all my cash to pull off. I'm not exactly sure how far off the optimum route said vehicle is though so I'm not entirely sure if I'd be able to pull off a caravan. If it's not far off and you wanna try for it I could use the unbiased eye to make sure I'm getting my moneys worth though.

I'll be going up I-71 and picking up I-70 outside Columbus sometime Friday morning...although taking 71 all the way up through Akron is only 14 minutes longer so I could go that way.

You could take 30 to 71 north to 76 east. No toll roads till the Pa boarder.

I'm probably going to avoid the turnpike this time, using OH2 and 90 will only take about half an hour more and I'm not paying $50 each way for an hour total savings, but I'm way north of ya'll, so unless Mel or Silvercup are coming it looks like I'm driving alone.
