I know most of us like to participate in or watch Auto X on the Sunday of Cougarfest. I'm starting this separate thread to track weekends where Auto X will be available. There are two AutoX locations within 20-30 minutes of where I'm looking for hotels, so I will list the date options below.

AutoX at Pittsburgh International Raceway Complex - PittRace | Pittsburgh International Race Complex

June 18th
June 25th
July 23rd
August 5th

AutoX at North Park

*Dates only in May and September currently. I'll update if anything changes.

Post May, pre-August would rock for me as it's right between both semesters. Work can find another guy to push carts and stock shelves for that one weekend. I'm expecting a call from the Military in about six months, so August-ish might be real busy too.

Hmmph. participating in my first AutoX surrounded by other guys on the same platform would be a hell of a lot of fun.

I too am planning on participating in AutoX for my first time....question is will my yellow cougar be ready in time...or will I be driving the Roush.

as much as i would like to do it, ive been informed that i need to be home as soon as possible on sunday. that and i dont want to beat on the car that far from home with the luck ive been having

I'm taking the Roush, and I think my brother will be there with one of his cars as well! I'll finish my registration too. Looks like the forcast says any rain Sunday will hold off until evening.

Those things are fun to watch; there are a couple in my region, too. They sound terrible, but they go like stink.
