I drove in heat 1, Frank is driving in heat 2. My best was a not-competitive 54.xxx, but that's down 3 seconds in 3 runs, so I'm improving at least, lol. More to come.

After heat 2, Frank is closing in - only about a second behind me...

Finished the day at 53.6XX, good for... DFL in F Street, as expected.

Frank's second set starts now.

I have a GoPro in both cars, so video will be coming.

Frank's best of the day was a very strong 55.5xx, and I think he had a great time. However, most of the novice drivers were in Street classes, and Frank's Roush was bumped to Street Touring for the springs, so his PAX handicap was a little more detrimental. He drove well, though, and very smooth and consistent.

Still trying to find time to get the video off the camera.

I took some pictures of Frank's 1st heat. I'll post them later tonight.

I absolutely loved my first AutoX. I didn't finish last, didn't hit any cones, and didn't end up off course like some others! I did beat a 2014 Impreza Sport with my RAW time, so I'm happy about that.

I'm processing the videos now - Frank ran really nice, tidy lines. If anything I would urge you to stay on the throttle a little deeper into the brake zone and then brake harder - but otherwise, they look good. Car seemed to be gripping well, not pushing at all. The Roush is a really good setup.

Thanks Andy, I can't wait to see them. Yeah, the car did grip really well, only had two times where the back end got a little shaky. I can't wait to autocross again, definitely gotta make it a project to have my yellow car ready for next year.

Here's all 6 of my runs from Pitt Race. Pretty shameful, but very slidey and sideways-y, and the thing sounds great, as usual.

By about the 5th run, the tires were getting so hot and greasy that the car was starting to slide out on corners with ZERO throttle input, so they are well and truly done. When you can even COAST straight, it's time for new tires.

We were just having that very conversation at fest! Wish I would have woken up and went racing with you guys, looks like a blast!
