Sooooooo we normally have this figured out by now, but things have been crazy busy for me so here we go

Cougarfest 2017, yes some of us still want to do this. Its really more about hanging out with friends than a true car show anymore, but we still play the game. Im not going to be the primary planner, but Ill help out any way that I can.

So who has ideas

I love how its no longer people claiming to have it in their own city. Its someone suggesting that someone else host it in a different city.

I agree that it's less of a "festival" and more of a large "meet" these days. I don't think the Tshirts and awards and formalities are really that crucial. But it's so cool to have folks you only see once a year drive in from God-knows-where, hang out for 3-4 days, bomb some cones, have a road rally, do car stuff, see first-hand what kind of cool things they have done to whatever they are driving. That's really all I'm ever in it for.

I swear one of these days I'll put together a Detroit Fest, but it won't be this year, maybe next. Probably tour the F150 plant, Flat Rock doesn't offer tours, unless we could get Ron to pull some strings. Autocross at Oakland University is a posibility, but they only have like 2-3 weekends a year... But not this year.

I have a good idea of a Pittsburgh, PA proposal, I mainly need to call a few hotels and drive by a few to make sure they have room for parking lot shenanigans.
