That program didnt even come close to getting done, it was just terribly hard and we gave up. Ive got a ton of tests today so I had to peace out at 930 and studied til midnightish...

Words I never thought I'd see in this Cougar forum... "assembly language"

"If you can't do it in FORTRAN, do it in assembly language.
If you can't do it in assembly language, it isn't worth doing. "

See this for more about Real Programmers.

"Real Programmers write self-modifying code, especially if they can save 20 nanoseconds in the middle of a tight loop."

Thats hilarious because that is what we were doing today in class.

"A Real Programmer might or might not know his wife's name. He does, however, know the entire ASCII (or EBCDIC) code table."

That article is too much....

Ok, if you're gonna play that game ;)

Last year, from Feb to Nov, I worked 40+ (more like 45) hours a week at WCOM, and then another 15 to 20 hours a week at night at CommandAlkon. Java on Solaris by day, C on QNX by night.

Now I'm doing C on Solaris by day, and not a whole hell of a lot of anything at night.

Ok, thread Hijack done!
