The cougar was a substantial upgrade for me. Went from a 4 banger 83 celica with no paint and whitewall 14" wheels and 16 speakers ...to a 99 v6 with hell of a lot of dings and scratches with painted 16" rims and only 9 speakers...counting all the tweeters mind you.

It's not really that bad, the drivetrain loss is actually about 25%. That's still crappy, but if it were really 40% the V6 ATXs would barely be putting 100hp to the wheels (102 to be exact).Originally posted by: JScullin
