This is strange. I've heard of the low coolant light comin on after being parked on a steep hill or something but this is just the opposite. Every morning for the past week I've started the car up and the coolant light is on. I have a flat driveway. Then, after being parked on an incline at work all day, I start it up to leave and no light. I've checked the sensor plug, seems fine. Coolant level has remained the same for the past week it's been doin this. No apparent leaks anywhere in the hoses.

Just fill it up like in the middle of the MAX LINE lettering. Not a big deal.

^ It is man. It's at the top of the Max Line lettering. Level hasn't changed. I know sometimes if its low and parked on a hill the light will come on, but never on flat ground?

its weird..mine goes off on an incline, but comes on off the incline..lol

When mine was doing that, it turned out the tank was leaking a bit. Twice (I'm on my third coolant reservoir).

Just fill it up a little and see what happens. Like you said, it's more likely to be on (the light) on an incline. Give it a shot. Mine is WAY above the max line. It can't hurt you!

And you can always take some out!

Use distilled spring water. Not tap water.
