All depends on the sub. Get something huge, it'll need more, get something small, it'll need less.
converting liters to cubic feet?
right i have a sub that give's me the size of the box in liters how can i convert this to cu ft.? and i have been told around 1.5 cu ft is round about right for a 12" sub? is this correct?.

go to google it will contvert it.
For example of it says 4 liter box is recommended, type in the search bar: "4 liters to cubic feet" and you will have your answer.
