Ok so you guys have seen my before pictures, but I told you all that after last weekend it wouldn't look like that. So I did get my windows tinted 35% on the sides, 15% on the wings and 5% on the back. I got my smoked sidemarkers on, blue reverse lights, new high and low zenon head lights, my 3rd brake light cover (black), awesom blue swirly seat covers and my system in. I am far from done. But I had my car out last night with my drivers window down and this other guy pulls up in the parking lot where I am, in his very own cougar and just starts going on about how good my car looks. He asked what all I have done and tell him that what he can "see" right now is nothing compared to what I have in store. Well I leave from that store and go to the grocery store next and some woman is like "wow that is a pretty car" but she didn't even know what kind it was. But I am excited, out of all the cougars in town I have the only one in LSB and the first to have started doing even the smallest mods. Just wanted to share in my joy.

haha i do the same, follow other folks my age with cougars....sometimes it winds up with police intervention


One time I pulled next to this girl with a drift cougar in a county near me. I proceed to roll the windows down and tell her " Hey! I have a cougar too at home! What county are ya from? " . Mind you I was in the Razzi company truck ( not much to look at ). She then says " Whatever!" and then speeds off

That's the best feeling! I was at a red light near my house and a man two lanes over rolls down his window and asks, "Is that the new Cougar? Wow. Your's is really nice!" I love the compliments. I even had one experience as I was driving down the street where I work...I noticed a guy with another black Cougar in the parking lot of a deli...and he looks at me funny and starts waving. So, the kid runs out into the middle of the street as I'm stopped at a light and is like, "Where did you get those covers for your taillights? Can you pull over?" So, I park next to him and we talked a good while about mods. It's just funny - the reactions you get from some people

ya man! i was out getting groceries the other day, and just before i got out of my car, i realized that directly behind me, there was a Rio Red cougar- stock, and the owners were loading their bags into the trunk... but everytime they put a bag in the trunk, they would look at MY cougar... and i KNEW they were talking about me, so I got out of the car and went over, said Hi, and actually talked to them for a while!

they both were interested to see what i had done, and everything! it was awesome! I told them about the forums and everything, i'm not sure if they remember the web address -i've gotta start carrying business cards... heh!

i've only encountered one other couple like that before.... when i had my old rio red cougar, and another IDENTICAL cougar parked next to me, and we just looked at each other and were like "hey! nice car! :thumbsup: "

Which makes me realize one thing... around here, the only NICE cougar owners, all drive Rio Red cougars :tongue: - i've never met an owner of a diffrent color in 4 years up here.

i just learned that my spanish teacher drives a black cougar, and so me and him talked a little about it the other day. he accidently droped shifted it at a light about a week ago. he put it in park at the light because it was one of those forever lights, and then he accidently put it in neutral once it was green. he gave it gas, then realized it was in neutral, and then dropped it into drive and he said the transmission just hasnt sounded good since. but anyways, he saw y cat and complimented me on it!

Same here... at least 3 times a week I get someone commenting at a light or someone driving by giving a thumbs up or teenagers at the side of the road shouting out that they love the car... it's a good feeling!

I've put out some "cougar business cards" before and actually got a member in here because of it, Zeus... he's a cool guy, local to me too.
