Well I got my coilovers a few days ago and after stopping by some places for install quotes, the cheapest Ive gotten is $220. Ive looked into it a little bit and the install doesnt seem THAT bad.

Im located in Nutley(5 mins from giants stadium) and have a good sized driveway, but Ill definetly drive to you, whichever is easier.

Would any of you guys with experience be interested in doing/helping out with the install? Ill definetly take car of you money/food/beverage wise. Anyone interested? Please lol??

If not, anyone know of any cheaper and reputable places to check out?

Jon (mastamoon) and myself have some crazy skill in suspension work on the cougar...I mean 4 days spent doing a 3 hour job...I think that just builds character if nothing else.

Honestly I can't say I have much time to work on a cougar these days however...

Hey man, I know how it is. Ive also turned many "few hour jobs" into weekend fiascos lol.

Any shops you would recommend?

Jeremy and I use a shop local to me called precisiontuning in Brick.. They are "subaru specialists" but will work on anything with wheels. They are the ones who installed Jeremys tranny in his cougar before he sold it.

Im actually getting some work done tomorrow there.. cant wait.

From everyone with these particular coilovers that Ive talked to, no. The only thing that might have to be sanded down a little is the struts, but everyone with that problem has had an '02.

If you come across some free time, let me know. Thanks dude.

I think me and my father are going to attempt the install sometime next week before NOPI. Wish us luck lol.

Nah man, havent had a chance with NOPI and school starting again and stuff.

Its not compressing the springs im worried about, its grinding the stock struts to make the coilovers fit correctly.
