I would just like to know if its ordinary when you have the wheels off the ground and when you turn the wheel either left or right theres a clicking sound that seems to be coming from inside the transmission. If it helps I have a 99 Atx V6. Another question I got is that in an ATX is it normal when switching gears to sometimes be ruff and make almost a grinding noise? Mine seems to be doing these things and im not sure if its usual or not.If not,are there any tips or advice?

Bad CV joints sounds right on track. That would be my guess too. For the grinding noise... Sometimes when I floor it with nitrous I get a metal on metal noise during the shift when I spray through gears... I am guessing that this is my tranny slowly wearing out. It sounds like the noise you are describing. I never hear it unless I have the nitrous on during a shift - and only once in a great while, but maybe your trans is further gone than mine.
