I am currently painting my interior and I am having difficulties removing the circular air vents and the silver surround on them. I already broken one of the rear sliders that blocks airflow of the vent, I am not wanting to break anything else. Please help if you can . Thanks in advance!
if you are looking at the vent from this angle picture a screw being located at the bottom of the vent, towards the top right of the round vent. The head of this screw is facing the front of the car. I believe it is a star pattern.. take out the one screw and the vent comes right out of the top.
You don't have to pull the dash, but you will have to remove the glove box, and probably the large and VERY in the way vent running from the center 2 vents to the passenger side vent.
far right one is the instructions above, the ones around the wheel you need to remove the dash part since there screwed in from behind.
