I rear-ended a dumpster and it left a penny size chip in the paint, showing the black under the paint. What would be a cheap way to fix this?

get some touch up paint from a bodyshop? Or just get a bottle of the closest matching color at an auto store. Not much you can do without a little paint.

I know this is an old thread, but for future consideration, check out PaintScratch.
They sell touch-up paints for almost anything, to include "rubberized" bumpers.
