ok, i took the coug to autozone and had them check the engine, they pulled the code, and it was something like P04081 and said insufficient air flow, so the guy told me that it was related to my EGR system, now as i said before i am fairly new to this car, and have no clue what my EGR system is, so if any of y'all have had this same code pulled or know what i may need to do to get it fixed, your input would be greatly appreciated.

Go ahead and search for "DPFE". This will answer many of your questions.

This should fix it. When you are done replacing the part, disconnect your battery for 10 minutes and your CEL will reset itself.
