I tried to start it this morning and it doesn't even turn over. The electrical works somewhat fine. The lights/panel are dim and the further i turn the key the dimmer they get and the quieter the chime gets... WTF is this????

Jump it, and have your alternator tested.

well i gave it a jump and it worked fine..started up like 5 hours after the incident perfectly. Took it to autozone and they said alternator was fine..also had check engine light tested, O2 sensor (suprise suprise) and something about the cat. converter.. anyone know anything about the cat. converter issue.. They said it doesnt do much except make the engine light come on and give you really really bad gas mileage, but im getting like 24mpg so...

The only cat codes that comes to mind would have thrown a CEL- Catalyst Below Threshold Efficiency- Which means a bad downstream O2 or a bad or destroyed pre-cat brick in the exhaust manifold... Which bank?

thats the code. I don't know which bank, they didn't say..

What problems would that cause? I have somewhat of a knocking sound, which seems to be comming from the left side of the engine where the pulleys are

umm that would worry me.... cats dont generaly knock...

it's kind of a knocking sound, and when i rev it up it gets faster...like theres no oil or something

Still anything with the exaust shouldnt knock ... i mean unless theres a large free object stuck in there some where.... it would act like the little bead inside a wistle. I highly doubt thats the case.... theres lot more around the pulleys to be causing a knocking sound, none of them good.
