i have C2 Gauges, the blue ones w/ white lettering and turn green at night, i like da gauges but not when they turn green, can i take them out and scratch off the back of them so the numbers are white at night? does any1 know if i can make them blue at night?????

From what I know it is not possible to change the color of the numbers without destroying the gauge face. (i have 99 so you 02 people ring in for me on this one)

You can however install blue indiglo needles.. that would be sick!

and you can change the color of the LCD glass by scraping the green off. I did mine in red. It looks hot!

lol, honestly i cant member what caolor they light up, orange/red. but i want 2 do sumtin with the gauge numbers. so they like light up blue, or white

kooter just order somehtign custom from intricate lines they coudl do somethign with pflames to mathc the entire rest of the theme on your car... woudl bring that into the dash...

Ok, allow me to completly destroy everyones beliefs on this issue.

Can you change the color of the numbers when they light up? Yup, you sure can. It takes time, but it can be done. Using the corner of a straight razor, carefully remove the backing color of the numbers, then recover with a clear/colored material. I have two sets, one 99 and one 01 that are half way done.

You can also use sand paper, which will remove some of the backing color...which you can cover with electrical tape so light will not pass through.

Maybe one day I will make a how-to.....probably the same day I finally do the how-to on the dead buttons. ;)
