I have a blue flame sticker on the side of my car and i dont want it there anymore. the last owner put it on the car and had hit the side of a pole so it tore a peice of the sticker off, not really that noticable but iwant it gone. its gonna cost me $300 to get the door fixed though. :disgust: But do you guys think that i can take the sticker off myself without stripping the paint off. it was put on in spring of 06 ' i believe. thanks

just try using a hair dryer, works great on dealership stickers they just kinda shrivel up then goo gone takes care of the rest.

i had a kit from decals.com on the side of my car for 3 years. i just grabbed and slowly pulled. No damage to the paint or clear coat. Used bug and tag remover to get rid of the residue glue. I need to re-wax it though. The bug and tar leaves a dull spot. A quick wax and a buff and it shoudl go away.

Do not use WD-40 on your car -- your bodyshop will hate you.

Just pull it off, and use GooGone or Windex when done.
