I have gotten everything out and off the gauge cluster...how do you remove the clear plastic from the black shroud...I need to install my bezel that I have and now that the weather is getting nice again I can work on it.

You won't be able to do that without cutting it and then reglueing it... remove the plastic from the shroud I mean.
You can, however, slide the bezel in from the back side and work your fingers around the bezel to push it down after you line it up inside the housing. take your time, the sticky backing of the bezel can easily get stuck to anything it touches, so make sure it is perfectly lined up before pressing the bezel down into its place.
