does anyone know if i have to take the whole console off or just the boot. i just got it in the mail and i want to put it on, bad

the boot snaps right out , pull it out carefully as not to break the clips.

so i just have to take the boot off to put the short shifter in

yeah, all you need to do it take out the boot to put it in

for the first time it should take about 45 mins- a hour. now i can do it in about 20 minutes. its easy just take your time, and it will be no prob

if you take the whole console out like i did........ you can see things alot better and have more room to see......... just a suggestion........... its not that hard to take out the console......
