Hello again!

I have another ATX --> MTX swap kit available from a 1998.5 SVT Contour.

This kit will most likely go with a SVT ECU and Key chip for a RETURN style fuel system... which will be great if you have SVT Camshafts and 19# injectors to go with the MTX swap...

This will be a COMPLETE kit except it might need a Driver's side MTX CV axle, and NEW 2-bolt control arms, unless the ones from your ATX subframe are still in good shape...

This kit will include from a SVT with 77,000 miles on it:

SVT ECU, key chip, and Harness...
MTX transmission with Slave cylinder
Clutch, pressure plate, and flywheel
Trans shim plate
Front and rear tranny mounts
Upper Driver's side tranny mount
Half shaft
Clutch and Brake pedal assembly with clutch lines
Shifter assembly
Shift cables and bracket

MTX swap kit is: $1200.00
Kit with INSTALLATION is: $1900.00

If you want your SVT cams and injectors installed too, to go along with the SVT ECU, it will be an extra $150 for labor...

PLEASE PM me with questions, as it will be easier to answer them instead of posting here in this thread... THANK You very much, and looking forward to another ATX--> MTX conversion!!!

HERE are 2 pics of the kit that I currently have available.
It DOES need a new Driver's Side MTX CV Axle. And you will either need a new set of 2-bolt control arms, or use your stock ones from your ATX if they are in decent shape.

I now have an 01 RETURNLESS Ecu/ PATS chip and Harness, too! as well as a 02 Ecu/PATS chip (use the 01 harness for this, too) So I can do either return or returnless for this first SWAP KIT...
I also have a second kit in the works, but I haven't received the tranny yet... Very soon, within 2 weeks or so.

Again, please PM me with your questions. This is FIRST COME, FIRST Serve!!

ALSO....

If you don't want The SVT ECU, and need a regular Cougar MTX ECU for RETURN or RETURNLESS, I will need to locate one for you, unless you can find one WITH THE KEY CHIP for yourself...

This can take some time, as a lot of junkyards won't just sell a key with the ECU....

BUMP!!! 2 similar PICs of the kit, and updated info in the first post...

PM with serious interest please. I need to move this kit very soon, as I have 3 motor swaps to do within the next month as well as another MTX-ATX swap!!! :)

Thanks for all of you who are showing a big interest in future kits, too!

I have updated the first post. I now have an 01 ECu + PATS chip, and a 02 Ecu + PATS chip to go with a 01-02 Returnless harness...

Therefore, I can do this ATX --> MTX swap for Return or Returnless Cougars!!

I also have a second kit in the works, and just need to receive the tranny for the second kit....

Please Pm me with your interest!

If I got a kit from you how long would it take to be up and running again? The reason I ask is that a friend of mine and I can bring my 99 atx to you on a flatbed and we can stay till it is done for up to a week. I would rather spend another 500.00 for a mtx than rebuild an atx

Well, I HAD kits last November. I no longer have anything available. Sorry.

and FYI, with parts and labor from me, it would have run you nearly $2000.00.
