I had to replace my first set of front tires about a year ago because one had two nails and the other one nail. I thought it was strange to have that many nails in the same tire.

A week ago while changing my brake pads I noticed that I currently have four nails in one tire!! How the hell??

While I am impressed that they hold up with FOUR nails in them, I do not want to get another of these tires again, I am not trying to collect nails.

Do any of you have a nail collection going in your Firehawks?

I sure seem to. I've had two flats in the same tire due to nails... Plus I've had other nails removed that thankfully didn't cause flats.

Must be something in the compound they chose for them that has magnetic properties to it that attracts nails. Course I was never good at science and only watched "Beakman's World" cause of the chics on it!
