well, today i was taking my car to valvoline for an oil change (my dad had a coupon to get it done for free, or else i would have just done it). the lady inside was waving me in, telling me i had clearance with my front bumper and all. well, theres a little lip around the edge of the pit thing where the mechanics are (see picture), and i guess i didnt have nearly enough clearance. and she directed me right into it. and now my front bumper is cracked. i ducktaped the bottom, and used touch-up paint where the paint chipped off, but its still there. and i have no time to get it into the shop before i leave for college, so it has to stay this way until i store it for winter and can get the front bumper in for fiberglass work and repair. and because i was driving the car, they arent going to do anything to help cover costs... i know my situation isnt NEARLY as bad as Andy's or Diane's or Dan's, but i, too, have had some bad luck recently.

<-- Air ride...prevents others from [censored]ing your [censored] up because they're too stupid to pay attention...

Damn. That sucks dude. I don't care if i'm driving or not, they should still pay for it. It's not your fault they don't know how to judge differences in heights... If it wasn't going to be free in the first place, then i'd tell them to shove that nozzle up their ass. At least it'd be all lubed up for their next date...

Wow, that sucks. I can visualize the scene in my head. Some dumbs ass trailer park chic who had to sleep with her english teacher just to graduate high school, waving you in like you have miles of clearance. Not paying attention to a damn thing, and acting like you need to hurry up and park the car, so she can go on her 10th smoke break for the day.

I'm surprised that bumper is that low. I think I could clear one of those lips with the extreme bumper now that I'm riding on stock suspension again.

Sounds kind of like my experience ...... aka stupid people at oil change place.

I wanted to get my ATX tranny flushed and new fluid put in. ... so they hooked up the flushing machine... TO MY FREEKEN RADIATOR LINES!!! needless to say after 2 minutes of them running around like idiots I knew something was up. They had to put everything back and drain out my radiator... but in the process they broke or stripped a fitting.

I didnt notice till a day later... the same time I noticed they didnt re-attached my front valence (psuedo skid plate) thing under the bumper. It fell off while driving and I almost ran it over... in the process it damage my bumper.
