Thanks that is a big help. Not that I wanted to relocate mine but I have another car that I wanted to install an outside sensor into, just didn't know the right place. By the way, Radio Shack has a number of battery powered indoor-outdoor temperature boxes that sell from $19.99 and up.

If anyone out there is still looking for the air temp sensor for our car it,s located (facing the car) on the right lower corner of the grill(Look to the left of the fog light behind the grill, it's black and rectangular with a circular nub out of the end ) I was looking for this so I could relocate it to the intake ( just for kicks) Now I know that most of you out there live where it's cold most of the time and like the fact that the little frost and ice light come on when it gets that cold out that's all to the good, but hear in Cali if iit's hot it's hot and if it's cold well........ so for those of you lookin to pay out the ass for a temp sensor, think again. hoped this helped

I was under the impression that the IAT was in the air filter box?
