I have a 2000 Mercury Cougar V6 with about 134k miles. I also live in Texas where it has been over 90 degrees outside. Recently the ac has been taking nearly 10-20 minutes to turn cold. Once it does turn cold it gets pretty cool but I have definitely felt colder air in other cars. Any ideas what this could be? Would a recharge fix this or could there be a leak?

if it was a leak you wouldnt have air at all, take it in and see if you need a recharge or add more freon
