I have an AEM shortram intake with the GMK extension and i decided that i was going to go ahead and clean the filter. I went out and bought the K&N filter cleaner my question is do i need to oil it when im done cleaning it or is that just a K&N thing?

You should be able to oil the AEM... I dont have an AEM filter so im not 100% sure. Try there website (AEM) and see what they say.

AEM uses K&N Filters.


Wash the filter with water, and light watered down soap. Be sure to let it dry, and evenly spray the oil on the dry clean filter until freshly red.
