Ok so I have not posted any real pics here but here is the car on the stock rims and Snow tires:

Here are the ST Wheels I picked up today:

Anyone know if spacers are required or is the offset close enough?

Also interested in color suggestions. They have a little too much rash on them and need paint. I love bronze Volks....but I am poor pretty sure Dupli color is too light for what I would really like to see but I have Dupli color cash ;-(

I found this on the internet and I assume this is duplicolor...

Interested in ideas from the group here the other way we could go is more graphite / charcoal....but I think dark bronze would probably look the best on a light silver car... Thoughts?

I have to paint some wheels I recently got. They are the 17” all silver special edition wheels. I’ve been doing some research on how to paint the wheels properly. You’ll have to make sure u sand them down smooth then apply some primer. Depending on how much you use u can probably use a few cans 2-3. Depending on how many coats u do. Normal 3 coats should take 2-3 cans for a set of 4 wheels. I read somewhere someone used 1-2 cans but it probably all depends on ur experience. If u do get an extra can u can always use it for touch ups later on.

Really like ur black center caps on ur car. Keep them in good condition. They are hard to find these days. I’ve been looking for a good set for a while for my 2001 Zn.

We have been fixing up the car for a while now ( Since last Spring) but its a real time capsule ( Just rolled 53,000 miles) So its pretty easy to make it look good...

I used to paint cars as a hobby some 25 years ago so I have a good understanding of process its just the materials ( Paint / primer formulations) have changed a lot. So I'm frequently in dark on things like coverage etc. I was guessing 2-3 cans....Looks like Rustoliem may make colors closer to Volk...but I'm afraid to use a paint thats not meant for wheels....( And brake dust etc)

You could always paint it a color then use the wheel clear over it. That way it’ll prevent brake dust. Probably still work the same

Agree Bronze would look cool. Do it. I remember trying to find the offset on those before but I don't remember what I learned. I want to say it was very close to ours but I wouldnt put money on it.

Also, remove your ding guards.

It looks like they should be interchangeable without any problems.

Found this on eBay thought that you’d might like this or have it paint matched by a paint specialist.
