Can anyone tell me how much I can drop my car without any rubbing at all.I mean none, not even a little.I have 17" rims with 215 45 17 tires.Any help is appreciated. I dont want to get adjustable ground control or anything,just lowering springs.Which springs are the best?Thanx

I never, ever rubbed with my Progress springs (almost 2" lowered) when I had 215's .....I have 225's now and rub a little bit....

I don't think Progress is making springs for the Cougar anymore because of camber problems and no (practical) way to adjust it....H&R's lower the Cougar 1.7" and they are very high quaility...

I was lowered bout 4 1/2" and had 215/35-18's on the ***** with no problems

H&Rs lower 1.5" in the front, 1.4" in the back
