on my old car you could pull off one of the hoses to the accordion tube so u did not have to reburn hot exhaust goin in to the throttle body so the temp would stay cooler in there are there any i can pull off on my cougar & put one of those tiny little filters on in its place?
? about intake???

from my head, i do not thing the EGR returns the exhaust via a hose on our intake per say, i think it puts it directly into the intake manifold so pretty much you would need to fabricate a piece of metal to sit between the UIM and the EGR valve or whatever it is that bolts to the UIM above teh throttle body
