this kid was high rollin with 2 other passengers and plastin the p-diddy while we were ata light to turn.....then we b oth go slowly, then we look at each other and floor it from about 35 mph as we are exiting the turn....

from 35 all the way to 110 i pulled about 3/4 of a car on him, id say his front bumper was at around where my gas cap is.....
i dunno how fast these things are exactly, but theyre pretty damn quick for a SUV...

then we got to a light and he was like, damn that thing's quick.... then he said lets see how good u are off the line....
unfortunately, ive got 1 wheel drive and hes got 4, so i kinda got whooped on that one:tongue:

good times............

I don't know about this story. Thos things are REALLY fast. I couldn't beat my boss's 3.0 X5 in a race when I had my coug.

I'm calling bullshit on this one. Read This.. 0-60 in 6.2 seconds, faster than an ML55 AMG. I doubt a coug could keep up.

Dude was blasting P-Diddy though (boomin system), and had two passengers (maybe they're fat, maybe they are scrawny), so they're up around 5,500 pounds now on an AWD transmission at 35mph when the race started. So he's got over a 2,000 pound advantage in weight and more of his power gets to the wheels.
I'd still bet on the Bimmer. Like I said, I've been smoked by a 3.0, and they have 225 Hp. So, your adding 115 Hp (the 4.6 has 340) for 2 people and some subs? Say the people weigh 200 each, and the subs weigh 100. Thats 500 more lbs. So, add 500 lbs, and then add 115 hp. I'd take that anyday.

maybe if the bmw and cougar were driven by two PROFESIONAL test track people... then both cars would have been driven to their full potential, and properly.

BUT

it was "some kid", and Instigator just having some fun... obviously it wasn't a serious thing, so who KNOWS what the kid did or didn't do...
Instigator has no reason to LIE if he beat the kid up from 35 to 110, so i say 'good kill' .....but then 'ah, too bad' about getting smoked off the line. :)
No hard feelings. Not trying to attack him. Nice work Instigator! :)

heheh i know you guys are just messing around

its just that whenever someone posts kill story where the unlikely car wins or something that SHOULDNT happen, DOES happen - people go off quoting car&driver road tests, engine displacement, hp+tq vs weight & gearing and stuff, when its NEVER like that in real life in a spur of the moment race. heh! :)
well guys leme just say that :

i have about 185 crank with my mods -----> 15.26 lbs per hp
he had a curb weight of 4800 then some said they had 500 extra pounds so thats 5300 lbs, with 340 hp ------> 15.58 lbs per hp

15.26 < 15.58

thats why i pulled 3/4 of a car between 35 mph and 110 mph

he raped me off the line, i cant out launch a car with AWD and 350 tq

no hard feelings guys, my lbs/hp is less which is why i am able to beat him on a roll, and considering the fact im not shaped like a brick:tongue:

Power to weight ratio means everything once a car is in motion.
We dominate pretty well at highway speeds against SUV's and most other cars. I'm not surprized. Good race.
