List your mods and post pictures of your sheets so people can see what's possible with what! This thread is for NA motors. If you have a forced induction dyno then post it in the forced induction section.

The discussions should go to PMs or separate threads. This thread should be dyno plots only, to keep it readable. I'm pulling all the extra posts out.

1999 Mercury Cougar

Engine Setup:

-2000 3.0L Duratec engine
-3.0 Oval port heads ported to match SVT UIM/LIM
-Exhaust ports port matched to Felpro gaskets
-Cleavite bearings
-Dual Mode Damper crank pulley

Performance Mods:

-MSDS Headers with jet hot coating
-MSDS y pipe attached to stock gutted cat section
-Borla dual exhaust
-SVT Cams
-Ported and polished SVT upper intake manifold
-Ported and polished SVT throttle body
-SVT lower intake manifold with counter sunk screws on butterflies
-CTA intake pipe with GMK Cold Air intake extension and large K&N filter
-Vitek plug wires

Cooling Mods:
-SVT oil cooler
-SVT radiator
-165 degree thermostat

Tuning Mods:

-SVT Mass Air Flow sensor
-SVT Engine Control Unit
-19lb return injectors
-Apexi air/fuel controller dyno tuned (SAFC)

Dyno Numbers: 220hp and 200tq

This graph was before I added the MAX EH UIM and when a few issues were beginning to crop up (dying IMRC and oil getting sucked through the PCV into the intake) so it should be a bit better now.



Let's just say winter tires & +6deg celcius weather today made for lots of wheel spin.

Hey guys this is what Loganmotorsports did for me! I can't say enough about how much better the car feels and performs. I definately recommend their expertise! I have a 3.0 hybrid with P&P'd heads with 3L valves, SVT cams, UIM AND LIM ALONG WITH TB. Weapon R headers to highflow cat and Yodude dual exhaust setup,GMK CAI, oil cooler, spec stage 3 (overkill I know), short throw, fidanza flywheel, and of course the Loganmotorsports tune with Xcal2.   • Custom ground 2.5L cams
  • Custom Cold Air Intake
  • SVT TB
  • Maximum Extrude Honed ST200 (SVT style) UIM
  • SVT ('01+ Cougar) LIM
  • 24 lb Taurus Split Port 3L Injectors
  • SVT heads with 3L valves retrofitted and 3-4 angle valve job (IIRC on the valve work)
  • MSDS Headers with ****ty MSDS Y-pipe

Specs:

2005 Sable 3.0L engine
Gutted factory manifolds
Flowmaster Tru Bendz Cat Back
Short Ram Air Intake
Return to returnless conversion
Tuned by Akron Horsepower



AFR was a bit wacky without a tune..


And the time cut off just from tuning (4th gear from 2,000 RPM to 6,900 RPM)


That's it. I have more modifications (headers, CAI) to install here later and I'll take it to get retuned. Hopefully even better numbers at that time.

203FWHP 209FWTQ Have to drive to believe.

The numbers should get a lot better once I fix my detonation issue, (started around 5600 RPM on this run), then get busy with the PRP software.

So, half my plans fell through, and I fell short of my power goals because of it :rolleyes: .... Not to mention my cat is clogged and failing :facepalm: But I don't think I did too bad :evil:

Finally got my cougar retuned with the SVT cams in there.

Mods are
-04 Escape motor
-Taurus 3L UIM/LIM
-custom fuel rail
-custom CAI
-70mm MAF w/ predator programmer
-Borla dual exhaust
-Msds headers y-pipe
-24lb injectors
-dyno tuned by Rob lasota

And I think thats it. Heres the dyno.

my 1998 contour SVT

untuned #'s here. mods list includes:

2005 sable long block

2005 Taurus upper and lower intakes
modified 2005 escape fuel rail (thanks blackcoog)
Nautilus fuel rail mod (-6 AN feed line)
MSD dis-4 ignition
9mm FRPP wires
WR stainless headers
WR stainless Y pipe
3 bolt flex pipe w/ 2.5" trubendz test pipe
2.5" trubendz catback
Lightning airbox
80mm maf housing w/ stock sensor installed
AC deleted
EGR deleted.



since this dyno: 90mm maf housing, 65mm TB w/ remote IAC, K&N drop in filter will tune next tuesday, i'll update the post with the new numbers :)

I finally got around to posting my dyno graph......

I have a stock full 3L from a 2004 Taurus I think with only a cold air intake and a dyno tune.

The trans was rebuilt by terry... new blocker rings and an quaife atb diff.
