I know that a couple of people have 19's on thier car, but will 20's even fit. If so will they look weird without the groung control(4x4).

19's are supposidly the perfect rim for the cougar. they fill up the wheel well perfect and you can still lower it and be a daily driver with them. as long as you use 35 series tires.

you would have to have ground control coil overs to get 20 under there b/c the gc kit eliminated the huge stock spring perch. you would be rubbing it otherwise. as for a tire Nitto makes a 245/35 and it is 26.69" tall compared to a 23.5" stock wheel

your speedo would be way off

Wouldn't it be okay if he got some REALLY low-profile tires? As long as the overall diameter is the same? You'd be constantly denting the rims every time you hit a bump, though.

i think a 20" rim is already a bigger diameter then the stock rims and tires combined. so unless you put something smaller then a rubber band on there, it wont be accurate. but who gives a damn. just keep up with traffic
