How far are you from Auburn? Maybe we could send someone up to co-drive...

Yikes, that might be a tall order... but it's a thought.

Jason, if you can make it Sat., you're welcome to use my parking spot.

Actually, anyone who can get a Coug there is welcome to use that spot. I want the T-Shirt, but since I'm not driving up, the parking spot is free to anyone who can put one of our cats in it.

JUNE 7 will be the cut-off date to purchase banquet tickets, if you so desire.

I will probably cave by then and buy one, since we have a trophy sponsorship; I should probably show up

I am considering going to the banquet as well, its just the price and lack of food options that has kept me from pulling the trigger so far. As long as others will be attending, I'll buy a ticket as well.

Yes, our host hotel hasn't been the most accommodating. I have had better host hotels in the past. Their is also a Holiday Inn, days Inn and Comfort Inn all together and feel free to shop around to get the best rate. Funny thing is they're all owned by the Wyndham group.

Just a heads up, looks like the public rate for the hotel is like, $34/night cheaper than the group rate.

EDIT: Booked hotel and saturday dinner.
Good call Stuart, I just booked for $96 per night through Expedia and cancelled my $129.99 per night through the group rate.

Rock on - I just did the same, only I booked directly through the Baymont Wyndham website. $96 per night is way better than $130.

Hey, I just bought my banquet ticket today - you have until Friday to do so, if you plan to attend!

OH ALSO - as of right now the Baymont website has rooms listed at $150 per night, so I hope you booked earlier at the $96 price! If not, there may still be $129 rooms available in the group rate.

Just got my dinner ticket. Thanks to all for the reminder of the deadline!

A thought about T-shirts: If their event shirts are fairly cheap, we each could get one, and then as a group, get additional printing of "New Edge Cougar 20th Anniversary" and the NECO logo. Designs up to the artistically talented! And I have no idea of the costs of my idea... just opening a new topic of discussion.

Thats not a bad idea. It looks like the back of the event shirt is pretty well filled up so we might be able to add a breast logo. I'm not sure how much I like that shirt, especially since it depicts a car that is unlike ours, but it is a combined event for us after all...
I would like it even better if one of the artists came up with a design strikingly similar to theirs but depicting our car instead and with text for our event.
I would be willing to handle the work associated with printing and distributing our own shirts if necessary but I wouldnt try to tackle design myself at this point. I'm way too overbusy already, not to mention not really qualified.
