As tends to happen, I drove away energized and ready to make my car better.
As of now, I have come to the conclusion that my yellow car needs to be restored rather than scrapped. Of course, I still need my focus to be on the project car until it gets where it needs to be, so I wont make significant progress on the yellow car anytime soon, but thats where I'm at.
Being around all those classic cars really makes me feel like theres value in the fact that I'm the original owner, and that its still close enough to stock that I can do a true restoration without going to any heroic efforts to undo my mods. The fender scoop will always be there, but other than that I intend to do a mostly faithful restoration.
Of course, six months from now when the CF high wears off and I'm driving around in a highly modified 3.0 car, my story might change, but thats where I'm at today...
