Saw a set of 15" Focus wheels for sale. I certainly have no need for them and don't want them taking up my space, but I was curious if they fit over our sport brakes? They might make decent winter beater wheels with some snow tires if they did fit.

Does anyone know if they fit on over our sport brakes or not?
Its these ones:

They certainly wont fit on my green car and I wont be investing in new tires for the yellow car ever again, so it makes no difference to me, just curious. I always thought they were decent looking little wheels.

Doubtful; the Zetec Cougar used 15" wheels, but also smaller rotors, so I'm guessing that brakes are a factor.

Interesting! Never had a need to look into it, but that's surprising.

Currently re-evaluating this idea...These might make nice light, little spares. I'm going to keep an eye on Craigslist for them to pop up again.

I had a set of 15" Focus steelies with winter tires on both my Cougar and my black SVT with no issues - both had the 278mm front brakes.
