Re: Anyone flooded ?
i was lucky with only 2 inches in basement with no carpet. I had an 8-8 shift friday directing traffic for the people who thought they could drive in 3 feet of water

Re: Anyone flooded ?
wowsers.... luckily I'm in an area where its draining really well and we are built slightly uphill and havent seen the effects yet... Although the amount of standing water and closed roads/highways around us is unbelievable..
Let me guess... this summer we are going to have record rainfalls to go with our record snowfalls? this really sucks and my heart goes out to every single person who is effected by all these rainfalls. My work has a warehouse in Cedar Rapids, Iowa... they've been flooded since Wednedsday I believe and its even gotten into their fresh water supply.. ![]()

Re: Anyone flooded ?
Our basement has been getting wet for about the last 2-3 months, ever since the snow melted... they tried pulling the carpet and running huge fans under it, but it was just too much water.... They've pulled the carpet and ripped 2 walls off to fix leaking walls.... but it's still leaking, still waiting on them to come by and fix more of it. Luckily.... I rent and it's the land lords job to take care of these issues....
