Dark grey. or black rims?

The title pretty much says it all I'm stuck on either getting dark grey / gun metal or black rims. My cougar is laser red. Cf hood n trunk. Trunk not on but any way what would look better on laser red? Dark grey or black?

Have you tried "TireRack"? You can try different types of rims and tire combos on a Cougar with your paint job to see if you like it or not.

Ha! Somebody always gets bent out of shape when I state my opinion on black wheels. I myself had a set of ADR anthracite rims until very recently. I hate them. For me, gunmetal or satin aluminum is infinitely more classy in most cases. Your mileage may vary.

I always wanted gun metal rims I just wasn't sure how they would look on laser red. I'm Gona check that website out. Thanks. I think I'm leaning toward the gun metal.
I use to have 17" konig unknows which are chrome and black on my old cougar that was silver. But one cracked and I decided to go for different rims instead of getting one new one. I'll be posting the 3 rims with tires in the for sale section when I get a chance.

Bennett, you should know I'm just kidding. It would not matter what color rims I put on my car, with my racing struts and coilover setup, its always a rough ride on Virginia's roads.
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion thats why I suggested Cwandling4 try the Tirerack App to see what rims would look good on his/her Laser Red Cougar.

as much as i can remember nobody has had black rims on lazer red. it could work, but only if its the right rim, and if there were some black accent on the car as well, like a stripe, or very dark tint
