RIP EM OFF! (Abs parts, not brakes) Can i?

Hey i was just wondering/more looking for a second opinion. My ABS/TC has never worked since i bought the car. would it screw up anything if i just removed the components, my thinking is if it never worked, just make the car as it it never had ABS at all. Im NEVER going to pay the big bucks to fix my module or get a new one so its not like im going to need them again so pull the sensors, module, lightbulbs, TC switch, all of it. Except maybe the pump cause i dont wanna pinch off brake lines and bleed and ****... but i dont think the ECU or anything would get mad about it cause if it doesnt recieve a signal it just disables it anyway correct?
Thanks any input would be appreciated

If you aren't going to fix it, you are better off leaving it the way it is. Removing everything is a lot of work, and if you're inexperienced with brake systems, you may end up creating bigger problems and dangerous situations.

If you want to know if ABS is currently disabled, find a clear stretch of uninhabitted road, and stomp the brake pedal at 25-30mph with both hands firmly on the steering wheel. With ABS disabled, the tires should lock up and the brake pedal will not vibrate. If the car does not track mostly straight, inspect the brake system for other problems (sticking calipers, worn pads, etc.). Make sure the tires are in good shape and at the proper inflation before any testing. ABS is most likely disabled by the PCM if it's receiving an error from the module.

i know that, no the abs is positively disabled and has been for a very long time all i wanted to know is if my pcm would freak out if it wasn't getting any readings from the sensors and such, i doubt it cause exactly that if theres an abs fault code both the abs and t/c get disabled theres no braking problems because i just did 4 wheel pads rotors and front calipers, the brakes are fine, im just tired of seeing both the idiot lights and the switch light, ive got the codes read on it and it has bad wheel sensors and the module is fried.

you can unplug the 4 sensors and see if the car behaves any differently? My gut feeling is it wouldnt but I have a non-abs car so I can't give you too much additional info.

always start with the option that is fully reversible. your talking about 1/4 pound worth of excess wiring and maybe 5 pounds for the ABS unit so its not exactly a justifiable effort for the time involvement but unplugging the wheel sensors will at least prove feasibility if its something you are interested in pursuing.

i was more or less saying in case i sell the thing ill pull the bulbs componants and all that and replace the T/C alarm defrost switch set with a non T/C one so they arent like "well why doesnt the ABS work"
but thanks for your input though
