Wheel Stud thread size

What is the size of our wheel studs? I was going to put my 18s back on today but I cant seem to find my lugnuts to do so, and I need to get set and Im not exactly which set is the right one. Also my rims are 18 inch motegi MR3s and on their site they say the offet is +42 so what size hub centric ring should i get if any at all? I ran them before "without" hub centric rings and I experieced a broken wheel stud and vibration in my steering wheel even with them balanced.

Re: Wheel Stud thread size

I have searched here and on yahoo and cant seem to find any hub centric rings that are 63.4mm or for my rims. the only site that came close was justforwheels.com where i could search for my car and the rim manufactuer and they had none of the part number in stock or something. And at discounttiredirect i cannot just buy hub centric rings so that site isnt helping either.

Re: Wheel Stud thread size

I have gone their as well but since I dont know exactly what I need I dont really know what to get. And plus I have only seen 63.3mm their and I dont know if any of those would work with my car/rim combo.

Re: Wheel Stud thread size

I have a set of 73/63.36 rings from them and they fit just right. Although your wheel bore may be different than my Koseis.

Re: Wheel Stud thread size

So one of the following set of hub centric rings would work correct?

Detroit Wheels 72-6336-4 - Detroit Wheels Hub Centric Rings - JEGS car hub 63.36 wheel 72mm

Re: Wheel Stud thread size

As long as the bore on your wheels is either 72 or 73 mm, yes.

Re: Wheel Stud thread size

i measured the wheels bore and one got 2 7/8 which is close to 73mm and then 2 3/4 with other tool and thats almost 70mm. And searching on the net isnt helping much either on finding the bore for my motegi mr3s.

Re: Wheel Stud thread size

Where did you buy the wheels from? If you give them a call, they may be able to help you out. If you were to get them through 1010tires they have an option to specify your car and wheel and let them figure out the correct size. Wheel Hub Centric Rings - buy wheel hub rings online from 1010tires.com
