I assume you do not mean 3.5" and 4" drop from the stock heights, but from the top of the GC highest setting... and since I can't see your pix from my office server, but I can not imagine there is enough room to take 4" out of the stock suspension height with full sized tires and still be able to drive.

i took out more than that. mine was closer to 5 in the front and almost 7 in the rear.

true i couldnt drive all the way down, but 3.5 and 4 was definietly do-able with normal sized tires

Actually no I forgot to replace them when I did the springs. so they now have 98k on them.

The only real differences are the 01-02 grill swap, the new wheels, shaved emblems and ding gaurds, the lack of stripes, and some new stickers. "Roush" on the rear and "Car Will Scrape" on the rear windows. So I geuss small differences make a big change.

The strange thing is that I had a set of bomz coilovers on, they were set as low as I could still get the jack out from under. I thought thats was low. Then I put these on and it was lower

It may be possible that these are contour springs. I see contour BG's rated at 2.25"

have you ever looked at a stock cougar its pretty dang high. like typical ford ready to go 4x4 in the car kinda high. i dont see why you think 3.5 and 4 inchs is unbelieveable. front wheel wells are removed and i daily drive it this way. i have my new side exaust, exaust is 4 fingers off the ground with an oval shaped magnaflow tip.
