I got my svt rims today

Just a heads up, the OEM size for the SVT Focus with these wheels is 215/45R17, so what he's got now isn't too far off from what went on those wheels from the factory on the SVTF.

Yes, I said that the tires will actually "work" fine. My complaint is the "look", that size looks fine on a small car like a civic, but the cougar being larger and having even larger wheels wells to me it just looks silly. Cougarpimp had the same size tires on his cougar, and they always stuck out like a sore thumb to me.

Did you have a hard time finding those or you bought them from ford ?

yea they are hard to find i found them on craigslist i got lucky go on to ford racings website and look under products and then look uder focus rims and copy and past the modle number and google it and u will find alot of good deals on them i have seen them at the lowist at 99 a piece

whoa whoa... what svt rims are they? not the focus or contour. atleast ive never seen em before? older svt rims? they do look really good. Im SO picky when it comes to rims. im definately liking those.

P.s i can understand what Nad is saying about the wheel gap, like you said, might look better with the drop. keep up the good work

They're off the 2004 SVT Focus.
These rims are still readily available, unlike a lot of the aftermarket rims from Ford.
North Coast Performance has them on sale,(2004 SVT Focus Wheel) and you can find them on eBay from time to time.

ahh i see. thanks matty. Must not be too popular round here. Ive only seen the 5 spoke svt rms on the focus's. Like these tho

No prob mang, I like these rims a little more then the 03' 5 spoke FSVT rims on a Cougar.
I wouldn't mind a set of these, or a set of Euro FSVT rims.

thanks guys i am planing on having the car droped 1.5 inchs and i am going to change the tires next year to 215/45/17 any other suggstions on tire sizes

have to agree with you there. But theyre 17s, id rather the looks of the 18s, still look sweet on the cougars
