"New" member from CA

What's up guys. Been lurking/posting a bit in the Problems section recently and thought I'd officially introduce myself.

I have a '99 white ATX sport that I've had since September of '99. Bought it slightly used (2,000 miles on it), it's a real early '99 with a 5/13/98 build date, meaning it turned ten years old a few days ago. Gotta admit it looks great for a 10 year old car, I remember how much they stood out when they first came out.

I'm in the Los Angeles area. Doesn't seem like there are a whole lot of other NECO members in the Socal area (never were a lot of Cougars around even when they were new), but let me know if you're in the area.

BTW I'm a looooooong time NECO lurker. I remember I used to read these forums back when I first got the car in high school, back in '99. I used to read them while I was in Computer Drafting class instead of doing actual projects and assignments because the computers in the classroom had broadband Internet, which was rare back then (that would also explain the C- I got in the class). That was back in the days when we thought Ford was actually going to produce the Cougar S. I remember finding out about NECO in the Car and Driver review of the Cougar, the one where they *****ed about how uncomfortable the seats are. Anyway, enough reminiscing.

Anyway, I've gotten a lot out of this forum and it's an awesome resource, so thanks.
