Hello from an "original" Cougar owner.
Hi all,
Finally registered to this group. This appears to be the best group for 99-02 Cougar owners. My wife bought a 2000 Cougar new. It is somewhat strangly optioned as it has the sunroof, leather, polished 16" wheels, V6, manual transmission, premium sound, but no ABS and no tilt wheel. It has dealer installed carbon fiber interior kit and door sill plates. It only has 60k miles on it and other than some slight clearcoat checking on the spoiler, it's pretty much mint condition. We haven't had any problems with it, it's only had two sets of tires and new brake pads other than regular oil changes. We really don't use the car much anymore since we have several others we rotate around. It will be a keeper as the wife is a cat lover and well, it looks like a cat! It's pretty useful too with the hatchback design, you can put a lot of crap in it. All for now, heading to a different section... |

Re: Hello from an "original" Cougar owner.
It must have an adjustable steering wheel.
Unfortunately I haven't driven mine in so long I forget where it was located. But I wanna say it's underneath, just behind the wheel.

Re: Hello from an "original" Cougar owner.
Even my sisters ****ty atx i4 has an adjustable steering wheel. As for ABS - my car is the same exact as yours minus the MTX. Not all that odd actually, I don't know anyone w/ the ABS option. But anyways, Welcome to NECO
