you guys are all worried about accessing the coolant tank and what not when I can't say that I've ever even touched mine more than a couple times.. the fender doesn't take that long to unbolt..
is the hood going to be cut down to mate even with the fender or what?

Yeah its most likely a trailer queen for shows and not a daily driver so that fender would be no problem.

That thing looks awesome nice work!

Indeed, the coolant thing, is that such a problem... No, if I need to fill it, I can still get there, open it and fill it with a tube... If there are any other problems, it's only 10minutes work to take of the fender, so wwhy worry!?
@CougarCat, indeed it's not a daily, BUT definatly not a trailer queen!!! I will drive to every show!!! And on sunny days...
@Tim, we'll have to talk on msn one day...

Just beware, if the car overheats that coolant will boil, and you will need to get the cap off...QUICK.

But man, looks good, can't wait to see the final product... :D

*sigh* its too bad the cougar club isn't filthy rich - it would be awesome if everyone could just ditch work for a month, and ship over with the cars to the UK / Europe... have "cougarfest" at the Nuerburg race course, see all these wild uk cougars... hehe. *drool*

I can still open the coolant tank, I'll still need to cut the fender a little... So there is no real problem!
Remember I'm not in the UK, but in Belgium...
But anyway, would be great, an international Cougar meet...
Don't do it the coming 2-3 months, I won't make it!

Fenders are both ready to make a mold!
Front bumper is just (how do you say that in English?) painted with filler!?!
The wheels arches............... the shape is now how I want it, now it's time to finish them!! Have a look, left with the original wheel, right with THE wheel!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And yes I still need to cut away a little on where the bumper will be mounted!! Tell me what ya think?

Won't definatly rub!! These flares are made on the wheels...
Still got 2mm, it's not alot, but I can drive it on it's lowest!!
