Assy CUSTOM REAL WIDE BODY ( update 08/04, painted pictures! )

resotring is coping what someone else spent 3 years thinking of and designing.

Custom is being that guy who drew it 30 or 40 years ago and also being that guy who put it together.

ANYWAYS whats the thoughts on the interior?

Yesterday evening the right part of the body has it a layer of spray filler!
This evening the trunk will...
During the day and the weekend I hope to finish the left body panel so it can also get its spray filler, than it needs to dry for a couple of weeks...
The body part of the rear lights is also in spray filler, so as soon as I sanded it a bit I might think of putting some pics on here
I am still waiting for an answer of my interior! Normally a part of it will be collected in Slowakia this week, but it isn't still picked up... Will be the seat of a very exclusive kit car... The dash is part custom, never seen before in a Cougar, I think even in any other car...
I hope to get the car ready at the start of te new season, which is half april somewhere...

Thanks Gail, indeed a (more than) full time job, also add a girlfriend in that list takes a lot of time too...
Anyway, I'm getting there now!

After 2 weeks holiday I spent a lot of time in the garage...
A budy Nikki helped me with the last details on the arches. Now both sides are in spray filler, thanks to Erwin. The roof has been cleaned. Roof and door inners are in primer... Now I'm redoing the front fenders because I wasn't that happy with the shape, they were a bit different with the rears... Than I also measured out the rear bumper so I can finish that one too! Here are some pics... Enjoy!!







Oh yeah in meantime I also did an engine part in carbon! The rest of the engine needs to be cleaned up as well, but the carbon parts are things I do inbetween... Sorry for the blurry pic

ahhh dude, you should've got a CAI and then wrapped in in carbon fiber, but that looks great man! keep up the good work.

Possibly, after a year or so, I'm gonna sell it as a whole bodykit! A pro with a wheel shop told me this should be selling like sweet chocolat... But remember I am from Belgium, and transport prices will kill ya!? But I certainly don't gonna do this the first year! Maybe afterwards...
Anyway, front fenders are almost redone! In the meantime the rearbumper and the sides are measured! Now It's just getting them perfect!

I'm still working on it............ Sanding, sanding, sanding......
Have 3 days off at work, so normally by the end of the week the whole car should be in primer!
I also took as promised finally a picture of the rear lights!! This is still just a model, I will make a mold of this one, and that make sort of glass in it! The lights will probable be a combination with LEDs, but isn't sure yet... Tell me what you think so far!!!

Looks good so far. I think the tail lights will be HAWT!
