HVAC knobs

A few people have mentioned that other HVAC knobs can or will work in our car, but very few have actually gave it a shot (simply due to costs). The problem with our HVAC knobs are that they are allnot the same. Our control setting for the fan (1,2,3,4) has an elongated end on the knob, hence why most others do not work. Here are how the billet knobs from a 1998 SVT Cobra look on a cougars HVACS...




Now, I am not keeping these, they are simply to prove there are other options. I have the third knob, and know it can be modified to work, but I thought I would share none the less.

If anyone wants these I can sell then at less than 1/2 of what they retail for (which is $39 and up)...but just the set I have.
