I haven't been a Cougar owner since October. The one I had was a steaming pile of horse sh*t. I started to hate these cars after the junk 99 V6 MTX i had but then i saw this one sitting for sale locally for bout 2 grand. Couldn't pass it up cuz its a V6 5 speed. The body and paint is a bit rough but I'm gonna jump right on that. Got tons of plans for it already.

Engine has only 50k ORIGINAL miles on it. The engine came out of a wrecked 00 Cougar with 47k original miles. I believe it was an ATX and probably driven by an old grandma to church every sunday considering the insanely low mileage. The body itself has only 134k miles. Smoothest running 2.5L Duratec V6 I've ever heard. Clutch only has 3k miles on it too. It has a jizztastic sounding cherrybomb on it.

It looks in great shape, grats. With the above being first, second should be replacing the cup-spiller to a proper cup holder 01+ center console.

My 2000 ATX Cougar has the proper cup holder and matches the rest of the interior, they're out there... But not very common. If you get an 01/02 console it won't match the rest of the interior... My 2000 MTX 3L has the cut spiller... But I kind of like the cup spiller console, it flows nicer from the radio bezel to the center console better...

i've had 14 pgts, 5 mx6 ls/meditions, 2 mx6 gt turbos, 3 pgt turbos and a super rare and sorely missed 626 five door gt turbo.
i've had full bolt on pgts, ze, t3'd 1g's and 95 turbo one, ksports, cf fenders/hoods/gas doors, rx7 13lb rims, headers...you name it and i've done...with the exception of the 1300 quaife...i did buy one for 400 to resell though 8-)
imho a kl with headers , resontated test pipe and a true borla or true magnaflow catbacks are the sexiest sounding v6...even rivaling the vq35
