If that Die-Hard is like the one Sears gave me I'd replace it ASAP. It was underpowered for the car and I happened to catch it the day it decided to start spitting acid & smoking.

That said. If you feel like you're in over your head in this I can easily swing by and help you load your old seats & Visteon parts into my car.

Duly noted, thank you. I'll replace it with my other one since that was bought only a short time before the accident.

Nice try but you're not getting my goods that easily.

    ^^

Good luck, I'll be also following this thread, like the many others. Looks like you have a fair bit of work but it will be a pearl soon enough.

great thread and good luck buddy!
It's a hard realization that people just don't take care of their cars. When I take the cougar out people always ask me if that's the original paint. Ofcourse, but then I think my car is 10 years old andin my mind it's still a "new" car.

You've got some work ahead of you but I'm sure it will turn out amazing. Major kudos for going after what you want and sticking to it. And to your wife for understanding.

Monkeygrits, as requested, here are a couple shots of the inside door panel. If you want shots of the driver's side I can get that but it'll be a couple days since it's still on the totalled Cougar.

Oh and here's a picture just to piss off you and John.
