Need better braking power?

But no worries, I finally got around to the repairs and had all the rotors and pads replaced at Aircougar Performace (Chicopee, MA).

I'm guessing the rotors wore down so thin that you pushed the brakes and it pushed through the last slight bit of metal?

It wasn't in one particular incident that all that extensive damage happened. But there was a point of time, maybe a week or so (on already really scraped up rotors), where whenever I reversed and went to the hit the brakes the car would shake vigorously, similar to the feeling of physically grinding the car along something.
