question for everyone though. Im taking the last couples pieces of trim to be upolstered on wednesday so i have to finalize the idea asap. im having the rear interior side panels wrapped in white vynal to match my seats and i already have the pillars wrapped (which turned out awesome) and i have a fascia that fits around the edges of the sub stand and amp stand which then butts against the side panels. I was going to have the fascia wrapped as well but i came up with the idea of cutting the fascia out of plexiglass then smoking it out ( which will look almost white also) but then mounting a few neons the the boxs so at night i can hit a switch and the plexiglass fascia will glow. just came up with that the other day and cant decide on what to do. i think it would deff add to it instead of having a large plainly wrapped area around the boxes like the original idea. so help me out and any other ideas are welcome

what would be totally kick ass is if you taped out a logo/decal of whatever and sprayed it white, then went over that with the smoke whit to fade it out so when you do hit the neons your decal/logo outline glows.

Just got my other pieces back from paint and found some time to throw the trunk piece together...




the door panel is being taken to upholstery on wed. i am having the top half (follows about 3 inches above the screen then cuts in between the screen and speaker openning then stays about 3 inches above the bottom of the panel) done in the white vinyl also

i wasnt sure if i was going to like the black dash and white pillars but i think it all works out especially when i get the black headliner up.

I think the trunk looks damn good but I want to see the doors with vinyl first before I make any judgments about those.

As far as the plexi, I'd say go for it. You seem to be doing pretty well so far and really if you absolutely hate you could always vinyl it later.

I just noticed..Is that a 10" screen? That looks like the one I wanted to use for my setup..

10.5" to be exact. It was a pretty easy screen to disassemble also.

yeah the doors are a little hard for me to explain. My uncle has been doing upholstery professionaly his whole life (same person whole upholstered my seats and wrapped the pillars) and i took the panels to him and asked him his opinion on it and told him to do whatever he invisions so im hoping ill like it but im sure it will turn out great. i think i am going to do the plexi, i think it will look a lot better than the plain vinyl.

I love your car and want to say that its 1 of a kind. people should always appreciate how gifted one is when it comes to vehicles. Here in the past year ive leaned more towards mini trucks and draggin the frame. Obviously its gunna be hard to do in a cougar and probly will not ever happen in mine. Thats why Im gunna find a truck and dragg the guts out of it. If people want a basic trunk set up, go find a honda or something with a small trunk so you can hide your junk.
